Rosenmontagszug 2023 in Düsseldorf: A new route due to a construction site
Shrove Monday starts at 12 p.m.
The carnival procession starts on Corneliusstraße, but then it does not continue on the usual route.
"Due to the major construction site on Friedrichstrasse, the Shrove Monday train unfortunately cannot be returned to Bilker station via this road," says Shrove Monday train leader Michael Faustmann.
Instead, the route is returned from Graf-Adolf-Platz via Graf-Adolf-Straße and Hüttenstraße back to Corneliusstraße.
From here it goes via Bilker Allee to Bilker Bahnhof, where the train dissolves as usual.
