Li Jiachao said earlier that with the comprehensive customs clearance between Hong Kong and the mainland, he will try to visit Guangdong Province as soon as possible in the short term, especially the cities in the Greater Bay Area. After consultation with the relevant mainland units, he is scheduled to visit Guangzhou and Shenzhen on Thursday.

According to the arrangement, Li Jiachao will go to Guangzhou on Thursday morning to meet with leaders of Guangdong Province and exchange views on Guangdong-Hong Kong cooperation to promote the high-quality development of the Greater Bay Area. In the afternoon, he will transfer to Shenzhen to meet with leaders of Shenzhen to discuss comprehensively deepening Hong Kong-Shenzhen cooperation.

Li Jiachao said that in the future, he will also visit other mainland cities in the Greater Bay Area and the Macao Special Administrative Region to jointly discuss the promotion of high-quality development in the Greater Bay Area, inject greater development momentum into Hong Kong and the entire Greater Bay Area, and achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Members of the SAR government delegation include Deputy Secretary for Administration Toh Wing-hing, Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Tsang Kwok-wai, Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development Yau Ying-wah, Secretary for Education Cai Ruolian, and Director of the Chief Executive's Office Ip Man-juan.
