- It's been 14 years since you attempted the casting of "Koh-Lanta", what was the click the very first time?
Celia.

I liked this show from the start of its broadcast but my first child was a baby at the time.
Then I had my second son and I also took care of my grandmother for several months before her death.
When my youngest was 4 years old, he told me that he would like me to register for "Koh-Lanta" and it was not until he was 18 that I was selected.
I didn't think it would happen so late!
(Laughs.)
Have your attempts systematically gone unanswered?
No, I was going further and further over time.
In total, I did five castings with the production and the fifth time was the right one, I was able to fly to the Philippines.
When I have a goal in mind, I don't give up and I don't get demotivated.
It was really important for me, only this adventure could answer personal questions.
I wanted to know my physical and mental limits.
I've always had this fear of not being strong enough and I needed to confront myself with the most difficult adventure that is in my eyes, namely "Koh-Lanta".
Giving up is not an option for me, I would have done everything to live this challenge for 40 days.
How do you explain your lackluster start to the adventure?
I had been training for 14 years with a fitness weight and, at the request of my doctor, I took a few extra pounds which turned out to be penalizing.
I felt slowed down in my races, I was sluggish in my movements and, on the obstacle course, I was unable to deploy the full extent of my abilities.
How did you imagine your beginning of "Koh-Lanta"?
I told myself that I was going to be observing for a day or two to get my bearings and place my trust in the right people.
Finally, after twelve hours of play, I already knew I was in the hot seat.
Some had the honesty to tell me before the council and I thanked them for their transparency.
Compared to my poor performance on the obstacle course, it was justified that they want to take me out.

How much did you search for a strategic weapon around your camp?
I did just that!
For two and a half days, I surveyed the entire area that we could explore.
Despite my phobia of spiders, I put my head in the webs to search everywhere.
I have no regrets about this research, I know that I tried everything until the last light of day.
You also attempted a strategic discussion with candidates, what was the deal with Tania and Benjamin?
With Tania, we knew it was going to be played out between the two of us.
To get out of it, I tried to rally Gilles to my cause because I liked him very much but he had already committed himself elsewhere.
As for Tania and Benjamin, they were the two most threatened candidates with me.
With them, we told ourselves that we had to stay united and vote against Clémence.
It wouldn't have changed anything at the end of the council but when I give my word, I stick to it.
When voting against you, Nicolas said that you were too withdrawn on the camp while Grace criticized you for victimizing yourself...
I wanted to assert myself and integrate myself on several occasions but no one answered me .
I resigned myself to spending my time looking for an immunity collar, it was my only option.
Nicolas told me everything to my face, he was honest with me.
I mainly heard that I was the oldest member of the group, my integration was difficult and I felt non-existent.
After your elimination from the council, tears come to you at the idea that your two sons are not proud of you...
I will not have the answer immediately after the broadcast of the episode on TF1 because they are currently in the army, they don't have television.
They are soldiers and I planted myself on the course of the obstacle.
They can't be proud of me, that's how it is.
We are all sportsmen in the family, releasing the premiere of “Koh-Lanta” is leaving without honor.
I am ashamed of my journey.
Waiting and training for 14 years only to be released after three days, I felt crummy.
I hope to have the opportunity to catch up.
