Janine has been a housewife and mother of twins for the past three years.
At least at the beginning of her self-employment, she is still dependent on financial help: "I want to apply for money for my business.
With the ALG II there is the first subsidy - and the first subsidy assures me in any case that I get just as much as I do now with the Hartz IV," explains Janine in "Hartz and cordially".

Janine really wants to take off with her career.
“I get the money for the first six months.
Hopefully I would also have to earn money in these six months, because otherwise the whole thing - self-employed and shop - wouldn't work," reveals the Benz barrackswoman in the social documentary.
Great success for Janine: Her dream of having her own shop, where she does make-up for her customers and sells products, has come true.
The salon seems to be going down very well with customers at the moment!
Janine is currently posting pictures of her happy customers on Instagram, whom she has given a fresh look.
"Satisfied customers are the be-all and end-all for me," writes Janine on one of her customer photos.
