Today, the Hama governorate distributed food aid provided by the Russian Federation to those affected by the earthquake in the village of Horat Amorin, in the Al-Ghab area, in the countryside of Hama.
The commander of the gathering of Russian forces in Idlib countryside, General Paris Novikov, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the aid, which is a humanitarian duty, is in favor of those affected by the earthquake, to alleviate their suffering and extend a helping hand to them.
For her part, Maya Fati, the head of the Horat Amorin town council, said in a similar statement that the aid includes foodstuffs such as sugar, rice, oil, grains, canned food, and others that are distributed to the afflicted and affected by the earthquake, whether those residing in the shelter center or residing in other places, in addition to the needy families in the town.
