Joe Biden's response to Vladimir Putin: 'Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia. Never!'

The US president spoke from Poland shortly after the Russian president announced that he was suspending the nuclear disarmament treaty.

Joe Biden sent a message to Vladimir Putin,

assuring that "Ukraine will never be a victory for Russia."

The US president spoke from Warsaw shortly after his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin announced the suspension of the last nuclear disarmament treaty that both countries had signed.

In a fiery speech, Biden said

Putin thought he was "tough" but ran up against the "iron will of the US."

In response to the Russian president, who accused the United States and NATO of wanting to destroy his country, Biden was blunt: "The United States and the nations of Europe do not seek to control or destroy Russia. The West does not plan to attack Russia."
