Two weeks after she was ridiculed on the Internet due to the surgical facial appearance she presented at the Grammy Awards ceremony, Madonna published a new photo of herself last night (Monday) - and made sure to add an encouraging caption to it.
• "My body is collapsing": The "Big Brother" star shared a medical drama
• In a series of revealing and hot photos: Orlando Bloom shares a disturbing truth
• "I tore my hair out": the "Wesday" star reveals the difficulties behind the scenes
"Look how cute I look, now that the swelling from the surgery has gone down," she wrote on her Twitter account, where she has more than 2.8 million followers.
The 64-year-old legendary singer added to the text an emoji crying with laughter - which could perhaps be a sting towards those who attacked her due to the appearance she presented recently.

As you remember, the pop icon presented the Grammy Award to Sam Smith and Kim Peters, for their hit "Unholy" - when her appearance caused many surfers to mock her.
In response, she published a few days later a post on her Instagram page, where she has more than 18.8 million followers, in which she expressed her anger at the treatment she has received from the media and surfers for many years.
"Instead of concentrating on my speech, the main point of which was to thank the courage of artists like Sam and Kim, many chose to talk only about my close-up photos, taken by a photojournalist with a camera with a wide lens, which would have distorted everyone's face," she was outraged by the unflattering photos of hers that were distributed on the networks and made her the focus of ridicule and jokes.
"Once again I am a victim of ageism and misogyny that is taking over the world we live in," she accused.
"A world that refuses to celebrate women over the age of 45 and feels the need to punish those who continue to be opinionated, work hard and be adventurous."
