Visitors to the Moosburg carnival parade got their money's worth: Tuesday's Gaudiwurm through the old town was a great spectacle.

Moosburg

– After a forced break of three years, the Moosburg parade returned on Shrove Tuesday – and it was as colorful as ever.

Several thousand spectators turned the city center into a party zone and ended the 2023 carnival with a party on the "Plan".

The city and the Narrhalla were once again able to rely on the Moosburg community for the fun worm with 40 different groups.

Numerous local clubs and almost all day-care centers had built their own wagons and come up with some ideas.

At the Moosburg carnival parade, there were no messages for local or big politics this time.

Instead, they simply wanted to bring color to the city and make people happy.

In general, the visitors of the parade had great costumes to marvel at - but they were often dressed up in an original way themselves.

This happened above all with the donated sweets.

The families were presented with more than 100 kilograms of goodies at Weingraben, Stadtplatz or on Herrnstrasse.

After a good hour of moving, even the largest backpack was full to bursting.

The fun was also a big join-in party, because the groups always encouraged the enthusiastic audience to sing or dance along.

The samba group Safado was particularly original here, the members of which turned to the right and left to the audience, surprised them and almost pulled them right into the middle of the action.

The green 911s from Narrhalla Moosburg had the largest car in the train.

They were chauffeured through the city in the two-story Schloss im Moos.

Before that, the royal couple traditionally got the horse-drawn carriage and the various Narrhalla groups had their own party wagons at one of the last dates of the carnival in 2023.
