A national police motorcyclist was knocked down by a motorist who was trying to flee a road check this afternoon in Saint-Brieuc (Côtes-d'Armor),

According to the UNSA police, a biker patrol from the Saint-Brieuc police station was carrying out road checks on a road in the town, when a motorist driving a Citroën turned around when he saw them.
Launched in pursuit, the police then observe the individual taking " reckless
" risks
to sow them, taking a roundabout in the wrong direction and notably avoiding a collision with another motorist.

The driver's race ended on arrival in a work zone.
The driver of a backhoe loader present on the scene then placed his vehicle in the middle of the lane, blocking the passage to the driver.
He then allegedly deliberately reversed, hitting the police bikers and knocking over one of them.
The perpetrator was quickly arrested...
