The legal adviser to the government Gali Beharev Miara responded this evening (Tuesday) to the statements of Justice Minister Yariv Levin according to which there is a possibility that she will be fired.
"The threat of dismissal will not deter me from fulfilling the position," she said.
Earlier today, Levin said that the role of the ombudsman is to advise the government - and not to fail it. "She must act with the minister and work together with him, and not behind my back."
