In mid-February, a burglary occurred on Jordan Road in Yau Ma Tei.
The female homeowner found that a number of belongings were missing from the residential unit, including gold, watches and mobile phones, and suspected that they had been stolen.
The total value of property damage is about 65,000 yuan.
The Yau Tsim District Intelligence Unit took over and followed up the case.
After in-depth investigations and a large number of CCTV footages, the police arrested a 58-year-old local man surnamed Yan in Sham Shui Po District today (21st) on suspicion of burglary.
He is now being detained for investigation.
During the operation, officers seized clothes worn by the man when he committed the crime.
The case was handed over to Team 1 of the Yau Tsim District Criminal Investigation Team for further follow-up investigation.
