During his visit to Poland, US President Biden emphasized the resilience of Ukraine and western democracies.

"Putin thought we were soft," Biden said, referring to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

The Russian ruler was wrong.

Putin is confronted with something he would not have thought possible: "The democracies of this world have become stronger, not weaker," said the US President.

Putin challenged all western democracies with the simple question: How will the world react?

'We were strong.

The world isn't looking the other way." Putin's attempt to land has failed.

“Putin thought he could Finnishize NATO.

What he got is the natoization of Finland.«

Biden said the past year has been exceptional -- with exceptional brutality.

"The Russians bombed train stations, hospitals, schools." No one could turn away.

»Ukraine will never be the victim of Russia.«

Putin's suspension of the last nuclear disarmament agreement

Biden said the West does not want to attack Russia.

Putin could end the war in one day if he wanted to.

“We must work together to ensure Ukraine can continue to defend itself.” Biden said defending freedom is not a one-day thing.

Ukraine will still have difficult days to live through.

She is supported by America and her allies.

"We have to be clear about the world we want to live in." The next five years would determine how the people of the world would live.

"Let's find the light."

In a speech to the Russian nation on Tuesday morning, Russian President Putin made numerous allegations against the United States and the West.

The USA and the NATO states themselves are to blame for the war, the 70-year-old claims in the almost two-hour appearance in Moscow on Tuesday.

They were aiming for a "strategic defeat" of Russia with the aim of destroying the country.

As a consequence of the growing confrontation, Putin finally announces a suspension of the last nuclear disarmament agreement with the USA.

Poland's President Duda spoke before Biden.

Duda thanked Biden for his support.

Biden showed in Kiev that the free world fears nothing, said Duda.

"I believe that Russia must leave Ukraine."

Biden had already emphasized the strength of NATO early Tuesday afternoon before his meeting with Duda.

"It is the most significant alliance, I would say, perhaps the most significant alliance in history, and not just in modern history but in all of history." A year after the start of the war, NATO was "stronger than ever before."
