The Executive branch stood up to the idea of
a fixed sum for workers outside the parity unions
, which was pushed by unionists close to the Instituto Patria and La Cámpora last Wednesday in a meeting with
Máximo Kirchner

Raquel "Kelly" Olmos
was categorical about the feasibility of President Alberto Fernández once again ordering by decree the delivery of a fixed sum for private workers (which would remain in charge of their employers) and state workers, such as the one awarded in early 2020.

The Government does not agree with the idea of a fixed sum that would destroy the parity process
and that whenever it was applied -both in the original management of Néstor Kirchner and in that of Alberto Fernández- it was after a crisis process that had demolished that and where there had not been a parity capable of rebuilding, "said the NEP leader and

Palazzo asked for the commission to convince CFK to be a candidate and Furlán let the President know that his affiliates are not asking for the candidacy of the president but for Cristina's.
Pablo Moyano, who had not been with the head of La Cámpora, instead, charged against the new chief of advisers to the President, Antonio Aracre.
Yasky, meanwhile, had sent a document in January to the Minister of Labor and the Secretary of Public Employment,
Ana Castellani,
to authorize a disbursement of $30,000 for workers of the national administration.
From the Executive they indicate that they will continue with joint negotiations.
The Government and the Minister of Economy Sergio Massa (who did not issue a public statement on the idea of the fixed sum) continue to defend the parity guideline of close to 30% for the first semester to anchor inflationary expectations.
Olmos affirmed that the union leaders with whom he speaks are against the idea of a fixed sum.

If you take the average of the increases forecast for the month of January in the main parity negotiations, they gave a 6 and a half.
We would have expected that the 6 and a half that we had seen would mean an important recomposition.
Faced with an inflation rate of 6%, it was simply affirming that the parity will cover inflation,” added the Minister of Labor.
The reasons for Olmos and the Economy Ministry to oppose the lump sum are mainly economic.
In the CGT there are also overlapping political demands.
In the meeting of the
National Syndicalist Movement in Mar del Plata
that brought together the "fat ones", the rejection prevailed against the initiative of the Kirchner unionists.

The majority voices of the labor union are pressing for places on the lists for the union movement that arise from their interest and not from the permission of the Kirchners as in 2019 and 2021.
The host of the union table, Luis Barrionuevo, once again expressed his support for an eventual candidacy of the Minister of the Interior, Eduardo Wado de Pedro.

This week Massa is scheduled to meet with the CGT board of directors (an appointment that was again postponed), which until recently seemed to be pushing a hypothetical presidential candidacy for the minister.
The minister tries to balance between the urgency of the numbers, the pressure of his partners and his own political expectations.
