The Finsing boys' club looks back on its re-establishment party last year.

With an almost completely new board of directors, it's now time for the next events.

Finsing

– 7,000 visitors in total, 2,500 of them from 64 clubs on the day alone: The Finsing boys’ club was more than satisfied with the results of the 50-year re-establishment festival, which was celebrated in May last year.

Nevertheless, a breath of fresh air will be provided in the new year.

The Finsinger boys agree that the five-day festival was the highlight in 2022.

It was properly celebrated, as the previous secretary Josef Weber revealed in his report.

900 beer mugs and beer glasses as well as 35 benches and tables didn't make it through the festival week, he said with a wink.

And the strength of the boys was also in demand.

They had started the construction work three weeks in advance.

Dismantling was much quicker: the traces of the festival week could be removed again in just two days.

The board of directors would like to say a special thank you to the old boys who stood by the club members in word and deed.

It won't be boring in Finsing this year either.

With an almost completely renewed board of directors, some projects are tackled again.

Only the chairman Bene Stiegler and treasurer Andreas Wimmer will again be at the top of the association for two years.

“We would like to continue as actively as before.

Next year the maypole will finally be erected again in Finsing,” says Stiegler.

Michael Buchmann is retiring from the board after twelve years.

Most recently he worked as second treasurer.

After eight years as secretary, Josef Weber did not stand for re-election.

Erhard Huber and Georg Buchmann are leaving the management team after four years as deputy secretary and second chairman.

Johannes Leipert was appointed Stiegler's new deputy.

In addition to Wimmer, Antonio Kreuzer will take care of the finances with immediate effect.

Secretary is Maximilian Weber, who is supported by Maximilian Schwirblat.

A lot is already planned for the coming months.

It starts on May 17th with the wheat beer and Russ'n festival with the Tetrapack party band.

Two days later, on May 19th, the Wine Festival will take place with The Soundscape.

As every year, the people of Finsingen also hold their summer solstice celebrations on June 17th at the Sauriassl.
