Today, a convoy of aid provided by the Secretary-General of the Arab Socialists Party in Lebanon, Hussein Ahmed Othman, set off towards the affected governorates.
In a statement to SANA correspondent, the Secretary General of the Arab Socialists Party in Lebanon, Hussein Ahmed Othman, stated that the aid convoy today comes to confirm that the sons of the resistance in Lebanon will not leave Syria in its ordeal. The earthquake is to provide assistance to the affected areas, and there is other assistance that will come in succession.
In turn, the Secretary of the Homs branch of the Arab Socialist Party, Mohdhab Rajoub, said that it is always important to expedite popular and voluntary action, pointing out that the Syrian people have risen as one united hand to serve our people affected by the devastating earthquake that struck Syria.
In turn, the head of the Homs Governorate Council, Fawaz Al-Hashemi, indicated that the aid contains various types of food, clothing, and necessary relief materials, and this humanitarian work is not strange for the brotherly Lebanese people.
