At least 28 human remains dating from the Viceroyalty have been found in the Bosque de Chapultepec.
The bodies were found by chance during excavations as part of the redevelopment of the park's Garden and Scenic Pavilion.

For the expert, the fact that there are three levels of graves with a few centimeters between them could be an indication that the deaths occurred in a short period of time or in an epidemic.
