social leasing
”, is taking shape.
The Minister of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, Christophe Béchu, indicated on France Info this Wednesday that the system will be “
set in 2023
”.
The executive has yet to decide what the income threshold will be to qualify for the offer.
In addition, the government is working on limiting the device to European vehicles, said the minister.
After these arbitrations, “
reservations will be possible
” by the end of the year, promised Christophe Béchu.

On the subject of electric charging stations, Christophe Béchu specified that France will have “
100,000 electric stations in a few days.
The Minister nevertheless admitted that the massive switch to electric cars will require going beyond 100,000 charging stations and investing in “
very fast charging stations
”.
Asked about the gesture in favor of "diesel" announced by Emmanuel Macron yesterday, Christophe Béchu rejected the term "
paradox
" and preferred to highlight the draft regulations ending the sale of new vehicles with thermal engines in 2035, adopted by the European Parliament on 14 February
