The police discovered that a residential building on the 11th floor of the above-site building was undergoing demolition of illegal structures. During a decoration worker’s work, the iron branch fell vertically, first piercing the canopy, and then inserting it into the dead woman’s head. The exact length of the iron branch is yet to be seen. OK, but the exposed part is 40cm long.
Cheng Zhiren also pointed out that the owner received a demolition order from the Buildings Department before the incident, so the day before yesterday (20th) he arranged for a licensed engineering company to carry out the demolition of the illegal structures. The Buildings Department found that there was still a danger of falling objects at the site The police have arrested the 60-year-old worker. He is an employee of the engineering company.
