That desire for co-optation trivializes the date and also plays into the hands of the anti-rights right, which for years has encouraged the denial of the genocide, the 30,000 and the fight for human rights," they said in a statement.
The human rights organization calls to mobilize that day from Congress to Plaza de Mayo to "remember the 30,000 detained-disappeared compañeros", but also "against the adjustment and criminalization of social struggles by the State, their governments and the IMF".
