The teacher, a professor in a private establishment in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, died after being stabbed by a student on Wednesday, according to the Bayonne prosecutor's office.
The alleged perpetrator of the attack, a 16-year-old student, was "
placed in police custody
", said Bayonne prosecutor Jérôme Bourrier.
