A suspected arson case occurred in Kwai Chung.
At about 1 am on February 23, it was reported that an amusement facility caught fire in the park opposite Shiwei Building in Shili Village.
Firefighters arrived at the scene and opened their throats, and put out the fire about 15 minutes later.
In the incident, one person was suspected to have fallen while running away and injured his hand. He refused to be sent to the hospital after being treated by ambulancemen on the spot.
As far as the scene saw, most of the facilities, including slides, were burned, and some of the plastic facilities and safety mats were burned.
After a preliminary investigation by the fire department, the cause of the fire was considered suspicious, and it was handed over to the police for follow-up.
According to the clips provided by readers, the fire was quite fierce, and thick smoke continued to rise into the air.

At about 1:00 a.m. on the 9th of this month, there were also slides and other amusement facilities in the nearby Shiyin Anjie Street Playground, which caught fire.
The case was classified as "arson" by the police for follow-up, and no one has been arrested yet.
Police are investigating whether the two cases are related.
