The brutal murder in Ashdod:
In the last few hours (Wednesday) another suspect, a resident of the south in his twenties, was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the death of the woman who was brutally beaten with a hammer.
Last night, a 40-year-old woman was found dead in her home, beaten and bruised all over her body.
She was taken in a very serious condition to Assuta Hospital with severe injuries, where she was pronounced dead.
The victim's husband was located at the scene and detained by the police.
Shortly after the murder, the police also arrested the woman's ex-husband.
The investigation into the woman's murder in Ashdod continued throughout the night.
In the coming hours, the suspects will be brought before the Peace Court in Ashkelon with a request to extend their detention.
