The Colombian singer confirmed what was an open secret: her collaboration with her compatriot Shakira.

The singer from Medellín released the information on her Instagram account.

She said that the song will be out this Friday, February 24 and that it is about "TQG", or it was too big for you.

The singer had already given a preview of the name of the song by wearing a shirt with the phrase on January 20 in an NBA game between the Lakers and the Memphis Grizziles.

When does the Karol G and Shakira song come out?

Karol G indicated on his social networks that the song will be available at midnight on Friday.

Little is known about the rhythm and lyrics as such of the theme.

It is known that it is the song with which he officially presents his album "Mañana ser bonito", which is published the same day.

Karol G announced on January 25 the name of his new album, "Tomorrow will be beautiful."

In his Instagram account, he said that this is a "project to which I have dedicated so much love and time."

The album will have 17 tracks, including hits like "X si volvemos" with Romeo Santos, "Provenza" or "Cairo" with his producer, Ovy On The Drums.

The production will be full of collaborations.

In addition to de Santos, Ovy On The Drums and Shakira, Karol G will also feature the voices of Quevedo, Justin Quiles, Angel Dior, Maldy, Bad Gyal, Sean Paul, Sech and Carla Morrison.

For the launch, Karol G teamed up with Spotify to offer fans exclusive clips and a countdown.

The Colombian is the most listened to Latin American female singer on that platform for three consecutive years, Spotify said in a statement.
