The Russian Emergencies Ministry denied declaring a state of air alert in Russia, due to the threat of a missile attack on the country's territory.
The ministry stated, in a statement reported by Russia Today, that “the allegations that spread about declaring a state of air alert and warnings of air strikes and missile attacks were issued as a result of a cyber attack carried out by some electronic hackers on the servers of a number of commercial radio stations in separate regions of Russia, and they are baseless.” ".
The Ministry assured citizens that the information received does not correspond to the facts on the ground, and asked them to receive information from official sources only.
