biting, licking and/or scratching
mammals infected with rabies such as
bats, dogs and cats
.
In our region, bats are insectivorous, they do not attack humans or animals, but if they are sick or dying (bats
fallen, disoriented, found during the day
in unusual places) they can bite, at which point they are potential transmitters of rabies.
While birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish or arthropods do not transmit rabies.
