A fight between two people living on the streets in the Constitución neighborhood led to police intervention.
But, while the City Police officer had one of the assailants handcuffed and lying on the floor, the other suddenly appeared,
stole his shoes
and walked away, as if nothing had happened.
The
unusual robbery
was recorded by a neighbor's cell phone and went viral on the networks.
The episode occurred last Thursday afternoon at Av. Brasil at 1400, two blocks from the Estación de Constitución.
Official sources confirmed to
Clarín
that the detainee had become very violent in the fight, which led to police intervention to calm him down.
They also confirmed that no police report was filed, nor were the two people involved in the fight and the unusual robbery arrested.

"We have this type of robbery and outbursts every day in every corner of the Constitución neighborhood. The truth is that the Police cannot cope. There is a police presence, but it is not enough," complained Raúl, a neighbor of the neighborhood.
In a conversation with the
TN channel
, the neighbor who has lived in the Buenos Aires neighborhood for more than 40 years, denounced that in every corner there "drugs are sold."
"Drugs, prostitution, all the crimes that you can think of are here.
This neighborhood is abandoned
. There is not even a minimum of security.

In the video, a
man is seen handcuffed
and lying on the sidewalk next to a police officer who is guarding him with one of his knees on his back.
Next to him, a neighbor is observed who collaborates with the officer and lends him his cell phone as if to ask for reinforcements.
But when the policeman is making that call, a man appears in the picture who takes advantage of the detainee's defenseless situation and
quickly steals his shoes
.
The policeman, who at the beginning of the sequence has his back turned, tries to stop him with a shout while he continues to immobilize the detainee:
"Stop, stop, stay here
. "
The sequence was filmed from the sidewalk across the street by another neighbor.
And the video went viral in the last few hours on social media.
