No wars, no pandemic: Apart from the ups and downs in Martin Gruber's private life, there are no real catastrophes in "Der Bergdoktor".
That's a good thing, Mark Keller now clarifies and surprises with a drastic statement on the subject of refugees.
Baden-Württemberg – “Der Bergdoktor” has been delighting its fans since 2008.
But anyone who thinks that season 16 will be quieter is wrong.
Things continue to be turbulent at the Wilder Kaiser.
But all in all, the world in the Wilder Kaiser is still okay.
One reason why "Der Bergdoktor" is so successful, at least Mark Keller is sure.
Personal strokes of fate: Yes.
World Pain: No!
Is that why “Der Bergdoktor” is so successful?
There is more than enough private drama in “Der Bergdoktor”: Martin Gruber steals his brother’s wife and fathers a child with her, stepmother and stepson have an affair, Hans Gruber is first left by his girlfriend and then by his daughter.
But have you ever noticed that the current crises in particular don't really play a role in the Gruber's ideal ZDF world.

No war in Ukraine, no political shift to the right, no Corona, no energy crisis: Martin Gruber, Lisbeth and Co have no Welt trouble - and that is exactly the recipe for success of "Der Bergdoktor".
At least Mark Keller is sure of that.
"I think that Bergdoktor is from a bit of an ideal world and that they (editor's note: the fans) escape there," said the "Dr.
Alexander Kahnweiler” actor in an interview with SWR1 and continues to surprise with a fairly radical statement on the subject of refugees.
"The Mountain Doctor" is a remake
“Der Bergdoktor” was already on the air in the 1990s.
From 1992 to 1997, the doctor series was still on Sat.1.
At that time, Gerhart Lippert (85) took on the role of the mountain doctor as Dr.
Burgner.
But after only four seasons, Burgner died in serial death and Dr.
Hallstein (Harald Krassnitzer, 62) became the new mountain doctor.
Despite good ratings, Sat.1 canceled the series after only five years.
Finally, ZDF secured the rights to the series – with success.
Because even after 16 seasons, there is still no series finale planned.
"No one is raped by refugees": Bergdoktor star Mark Keller reveals why fans love the series
The "Bergdoktor" fans would enjoy being able to switch off in the evening.
"90 minutes no stress, sometimes no murders, explosions, no terror, no one was raped by the refugees," surprised Mark Keller with this blatant statement and had to backtrack immediately.
"...or whoever".

But Mark Keller is not finished with his enumeration of terrible things that happened in the world: "No offender was released early, no war stories, no corona stories.
They're just happy to hear something that lets them breathe in and come to themselves."
He's probably right there, whether you have to express it so drastically is an open question.

"Lisbeth" belongs to the Bergdoktor, like Martin Gruber or the dramatic love stories.
But Monika Baumgartner's acting career began much earlier - at that time with a permanent wave and flashy aerobic outfits.
