Their first tip does not exactly concern the bathroom, but if you have a washing machine there (or in another room in the house) - you should listen.
"After using your washing machine, leave it open to give it ventilation," the experts explained.
The idea is that clean air should be allowed to circulate in the drum - as one of the effective ways to prevent mold from forming in the machine in the first place.
The next trick is already more related to the bathroom and it is "always pull the shower curtain all the way to prevent mold from forming in the creases that form in it".
Your shower curtain might not be the first place you look for mold, but if it stays damp for too long - it's bound to harbor some nasty bacteria.
You are also welcome to give it a good spray of detergent every time you clean your bathroom - for extra protection.
