Tens of thousands of people are expected to participate tomorrow (Friday) in the Tel Aviv Marathon, which will begin in the early morning and continue until noon.

The race will include several stages, including a full marathon, 42.2 km long, a half marathon 21.1 km long, a 10 km long stage, a 5 km long stage and a hand bike race.

The event will be secured by medical teams, during which traffic will be blocked on many roads in the city.



The marathon will take place between 13:30 and 05:30, while the blockades are expected from 04:00 until 13:30.

The police said that parking on the running tracks should be avoided starting in the evening today, and that vehicles parked there will be towed to the Reading and Nahum Goldman parking lots.

It was also reported that the road blocks will be marked on the day of the event in the Waze app and at the municipality's call center 106. Also, classes in the schools and kindergartens will take place as usual, but due to the blocks, you must prepare to reach them accordingly.

Thousands of people are expected to participate in the race.

The public is advised to arrive at the event complex by Israel Railways, University Station.

It will not be allowed to bring weapons into the event area and it will not be allowed to bring bicycles/electric bikes, not even to the race track.

Northern area:

Entry and exit at the interchanges

  • Rokha interchange northbound and southbound will be closed to vehicle traffic from 4:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

  • The northbound fairgrounds interchange will be closed to vehicle traffic from 4:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

  • There may be blockages of the entrances to the peace interchange according to traffic congestion.
