Rehabilitation work has begun for a power station in Saida, in the liberated southern countryside of Idlib, with a capacity of 230 kilovolts.
The governor of Idlib, Thaer Salhab, explained in a statement to SANA reporter that the civil works started today to rehabilitate the power station in Saida, and it is expected that after its completion within months, the works of the electrical system will be prepared, in coordination with the Ministry of Electricity, indicating that the station, once completed, will feed the entire liberated countryside of Idlib. .
In his turn, the Director General of the General Electricity Company of Idlib Governorate, Eng. Mamdouh Abdo, stated that the Psida power station is one of the 3 power stations at the governorate level with a capacity of 230 kilovolts. Later, pointing out that the station, which costs 383 million Syrian pounds to rehabilitate civil works, will supply the stations of Sinjar 20-66, Khan Shaykhun 20-66, and Maarat al-Numan city line 20-66 kV.
