Egypt's permanent representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Osama Abdel-Khalek, reaffirmed his country's full support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
This came during a meeting of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Palestinian People's Inalienable Rights, according to a statement by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Abdel-Khaleq said: “Egypt will remain committed to defending the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and their just cause, for which it has always sacrificed everything precious and precious,” calling for the continuation of placing the Palestinian cause at the top of the agenda of the international community until the Palestinian people obtain their freedom and the establishment of their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Abdel-Khaleq praised the efforts of the United Nations Committee on the Exercise of the Palestinian People’s Inalienable Rights to support the Palestinian cause through its various activities, and said: “The meeting of the committee is of particular importance in light of the developments taking place in the Palestinian cause during the last period as a result of Israeli practices, especially with regard to settlements and what they target.” Changing conditions on the ground.
