Against the background of US President Joe Biden's visit to Kiev, and in the shadow of Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky's attack on Israel at the Munich Conference, a special gathering of the United Nations was held last night (Wednesday) to mark the anniversary of the war in Ukraine. During the discussion, Israel's ambassador to the organization Gilad Erdan spoke and stated that Israel is expected to help Ukraine develop missile warning systems.

Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gilad Erdan, spoke at the UN General Assembly which convened as part of an event to mark the anniversary of the Russia-Ukraine war.
In his speech, Erdan detailed the extensive humanitarian aid that Israel provided to Ukraine and emphasized that Israel recognizes the territorial integrity of Ukraine and supported it in votes at the United Nations.
"Israel will expand its support to Ukraine by promoting projects in the field of health and civil infrastructure throughout the country," Ambassador Ardan said in his speech.
He also promised that the Israeli government would assist the Ukrainians in developing a warning system against rocket and missile attacks.
Ambassador Erdan: "The Iranian regime - a danger to the entire world"
In his speech, the ambassador also referred to the extensive use of Iranian weapons in the war in Ukraine.
"For years Israel has been warning against the murderous regime of the Ayatollahs in Iran," declared Ambassador Erdan.
"A regime that does not pose a danger only to the Middle East but to the entire world and now it is clear to everyone that it poses a global threat. Iranian weapons are killing innocent citizens in Ukraine and destroying the country's infrastructure. The Ayatollah regime has turned Ukraine into a testing ground, and today it is selling its weapons to dangerous international elements."
"The international community must wake up."

"What will happen when Iran becomes a nuclear threshold state?".
"The time has come for the international community not only to wake up, but also to act against the Iranian threat. For the sake of the Iranian people, for the sake of the Middle East, for the sake of Ukraine, and for the sake of the whole world."
