Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin warned that the supply of weapons by Western countries to the regime in Kiev will inevitably lead to an escalation of the conflict in Ukraine.

Galuzin stressed Russia's readiness to take a political and diplomatic path to achieve the goals of its own military operation, and said: "We are ready to achieve the goals of the special military operation in terms of protecting the population of Donbass and disarming Ukraine by political and diplomatic means, but Kiev's non-constructive position at all hinders this at the instigation of the West." .
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had confirmed earlier that the Russian government was still open to talks on Ukraine, and that Russia was ready to listen to Western partners if they proposed organizing talks that took Moscow's interests into consideration.
