A British art student went viral after she documented her cakes - which she made to look like they were filled with mold • "My partner loved the cake"

Art from a woman:

a British art student took her works one step further - and scorched the web.

Tatum Farden, a resident of London, left her followers shocked and disgusted, after she managed to confuse them and make them believe that the videos she uploads are of pastries filled with mold, and not hyper-realistic creations that are completely edible.

Fardan at 21 decided that instead of painting on canvas, she would use baked goods as a medium in which she expresses her art.

The result: moderately odd creations, including a cake shaped like a raw chicken, dead pigeons and even one shaped like a snail.

In her latest creation, which has garnered more than three million views on TikTok, she has created a piece of cake that looks just like completely moldy bread, leaving many people severely nauseous.

"I started making cakes three years ago, for an art project at the college where I studied," says Tatum, who adds that "I made a red dove cake, ran it over with a car, and then filmed it for a video called 'Road Kill.' The truth is, I like the fact that my sculptures only exist for a certain period of time, because I am also interested in phenomena such as repulsion and attraction."

Referring to her moldy bread cake, she said that it took her about a week to make it.

"I worked on this cake at university, which made it awkward because other students told me to throw away my sandwich because there was a person in the building with a mold allergy. Later, my friend ate this cake, but I forgot to warn him that it was green from 'mold' inside as well , that's why it was very difficult for him at the first bite. In the end, he liked the cake," she said.

"I thought it was a sandwich with mold"

The virality of the cakes caused many netizens to doubt the authenticity of the cake, even though Fardan explained to them and showed them how she makes them.

Some stated that they would feel "uncomfortable" eating dessert this way.

One surfer responded: "I estimate that I will have stomach poisoning due to the placebo effect after eating such a cake."

Another added: "My jaw dropped at first, because I thought it was a sandwich with real mold."

And what about the future?

The student is already planning her next cake - a cake in the shape of a toilet, full size.

"I'm not only making a toilet, but I'm also going to make fake urine for the contents of the toilet itself using apple juice jelly. I think it's going to be very disgusting."
