Discussions on the sale of six EPR nuclear reactors, they started in the 2000s. About fifteen years later, the site supposed to be in Jaitapur, in western India, has not started.
The last episode dates from April 2021. EDF submitted a technical and commercial offer to the Nuclear Power Corporation of India, the public company which operates nuclear power plants.
