The corporation took on a serious and important role. just what? He is guilty of this position with every word he claims to act according to Ora. Look for the voice of the reform supporters in the corporation - it does not exist

Once upon a time, many years ago, my late grandfather, Eliakim Atzani, came up with the slogan "The people against hostile media".

This was before there were a variety of commercial channels, before the Internet and before social networks.

And yet, in these days of legal reform, the slogan is more relevant than ever.

The citizens of Israel are today subjected to a venomous, orchestrated, anti-democratic and gagging campaign by the majority of the media in Israel.

Supporters of legal reform are in the middle of a public media suffocation, which positions them as an enemy who wants to bring about the end of democracy and a dark dictatorship.

This brainwashing only reminds of the dismal days of that media in "secession".

Within the overall media suffocation, it is appropriate to talk about one media body that should give a different, balanced, balanced voice.

A body that is funded by all of our tax money by almost a billion shekels a year.

A body that claims to bring a real line of innovation and truth.

This body is "Kan", the public broadcasting corporation.

Even in good times, the corporation is failing in its duty.

Their original productions, for example - whenever they touch on current events they almost always occupy the left side of the very left wing.

A small look at the series "Carthage", "Zero in human relations" or the new series "East Side" is enough to understand the spirit of the commanders.

The balance in the news division doesn't exist at all either, and that's even before we started talking about Makhan, the Arab division of the corporation, which turned into a small Al Jazeera.

But now we are in the wrong days, the days of legal reform.

Today, the corporation is at its lowest point in terms of content and quality.

The corporation's website states that "the corporation provides news and current affairs content in a professional, fair, responsible, independent, critical, impartial and reliable manner."

The corporation took on a serious and important role.

just what?

He is guilty of this role in almost every word he claims to act according to Ora.

Look for the voice of the supporters of corporate reform - it simply does not exist.

Not on radio, not on television, not in investigative productions, not in digital.

And no, one Kalman Libeskind, as sharp and professional as he may be, is not enough, it is a mockery of Resh.

There is no intelligent perspective in the body of the public that provides information on the need for correction, on the broad background over the years, on the distress, on the failures, on the injustice done to whole sections of Israeli society, on the politicization of the justice system, the conspiracy, the closed cliques.

The framing of the demonstrations is indulgent, the assumptions made for the statements and violent behavior of certain senior officials are outrageous.

No hard questions, no hesitations.

The narrative is clear.

Aryeh Golan echoes it every morning on Channel B during an hour of brainwashing from the pop-up.

The afternoon and evening diaries are also very biased, in tune, in the choice of interviewees and in the questions.

This week a survey was published by the Israel Democracy Institute, a political body that is engaged in a political campaign.

The survey, of course, points to widespread opposition to the reform.

guess what?

It was echoed in the news every round hour that morning, as the words of the living God.

Would a survey by the Ecclesiastical Forum also resonate in the same way?

Answer for yourselves.

The highlight, meanwhile, is a series of articles by Dov Gilhar under the title "Democracy. End: This is what countries that thought it wouldn't happen to them look like."

They talk about the situation in Hungary and Poland as if Israel is on its way there, an automatic dictatorship.

This is an invested series, serious, but superficial and completely false.

Propaganda for the vein, without blinking at all.

And the worst?

that there is no one there to apply brakes.

Do they not see the distortion?

Are they not ashamed to take our money and use it for political purposes?

Don't you see that they are losing trust, which is the most important thing for a public body?

Probably not.

But the days when we were tearing our hair out in front of the Israel Broadcasting Authority's television are over.

If the corporation does not act for quick balance and fairness - there is no justification for its continued activity.

were we wrong

We will fix it!
