Psychological warfare?

The head of the Ukrainian military intelligence claims: there are people around Putin who cooperate with us.

In an interview with the "Ukrainskaya Pravda" newspaper, General Kirill Budnov said that the motivation of the helpers is "the possibility of living a normal life in the future."

"Since the situation of the Russian Federation is deteriorating day by day, it is easier for us to find people willing to work with us," Budnov said.

The Ukrainian general also referred to the Russian winter offensive, which is actually already happening in five directions in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

"They were given a deadline to reach the administrative borders of the district by March 31," he claimed, "their Ministry of Defense and the entire military apparatus are trying to prove that they are capable of doing so."

Meanwhile, in Mariupol - a city in southeastern Ukraine that Russia completed its occupation of in May - explosions have been heard over the past day.

The Russians did not treat them officially.

The Southern Ukrainian command said that "Mariopol is no longer out of reach" - it is not impossible that this is a hint of a new weapon that Ukraine received and is capable of hitting at a distance of about 120 km.

"Already within Ukrainian reach."

Meanwhile, Moldova is back in the headlines again today.

In the last month, the reports of Russian interference in the country, which like Ukraine chose to turn west, have multiplied, and ten days ago the country's president Maya Sando even announced that Russia is planning a coup.

Today it was the Russian Ministry of Defense's turn to warn against escalation.

According to the ministry's statement, Ukraine is allegedly planning a military provocation in the Transnistria region - a separatist region mostly east of the Dniester River, which borders Ukraine.

According to Moscow, Ukraine wants to stage an operation of the Russian army from the territory of Transnistria, and for this purpose "Ukrainian provocateurs" intend to exchange Russian army uniforms.

Moldovan authorities did not confirm the Russian information, calling on citizens to keep calm "and consume information from official or verified sources".

"Our authorities are working in cooperation with their colleagues from abroad, and in case of danger to the country, updates will be issued," it was reported.

Transnistria is a political entity, which split from Moldova in 1990 after the vote to leave the USSR and Moldova's declaration of independence. It was quick to take advantage of the possibility that Transnistria is not recognized by the member states of the United Nations.

After a short war in 1992 against Moldova, Russia sent a peacekeeping force to Transnistria, numbering about 1,800 soldiers.

Russia has no land access to the landlocked Ukraine and Moldova.

At the beginning of the month, Ukrainian President Zelensky warned that Ukrainian intelligence had found evidence of a Russian plan to destabilize Moldova.

A few days after that, President Sandu said that the security mechanisms of her country confirmed the reliability of the Ukrainian information.

According to her, the Russian coup plan included the introduction of citizens of Russia, Montenegro, Belarus and Serbia, who were supposed to pose as protesters and ignite the violence in order to establish a puppet government that would be controlled from Moscow, and to make Moldova a base for launching another threat against Ukraine.

"The Kremlin's attempts to bring violence to Moldova will not work," Sandu said, noting that this is not the first time that Moscow has tried to destabilize its country.

Last October, an investigation by Russian and Moldovan journalists revealed how the PSB (Russian Shin Bet) works to harm the country.

Oleksiy Arstovich, the former adviser to the chief of staff of the Ukrainian president, that Ukraine will not act in Transnistria unless an explicit request comes from Moldova.

"Ukraine is a country that is deeply friendly to Moldova," said Arastovich, "If the leadership asks us, I see no reason why not to help (and I speak for myself). Russia is trying to destabilize the situation. The US president said this, noting that 'our support In completeness, sovereignty and absolute security of Moldova'.

He said this in Warsaw because President Sandu arrived there.

And she flew there not by chance." Erstovich also said that Ukraine would have no difficulty in taking over Transnistria in two or three days, since the Russian force there has no rear support.
