Referring to the interest rate: "We are aware of the consequences that raising the interest rate produces, but that is the purpose of the interest rate. True, there are other tools, but we have to be careful of too many reforms. The credit market has gone through quite a few reforms and we need to let it stabilize, and of course the independence of the Bank of Israel must be maintained."
