Syria condemned in the strongest terms the brutal practices of the Israeli occupation authorities against the Palestinian people, stressing its support for them.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said in a statement, a copy of which SANA received today: “Syria condemns in the strongest terms the continuation of the brutal practices carried out by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people, the most recent of which was the perpetration of a massacre in the city of Nablus yesterday, which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians and the wounding of more than 100.” .
The Ministry affirmed that the brutal attacks and killings carried out by the occupation authorities against the Palestinian people constitute a crime condemned by international law, the Human Rights Charter and international humanitarian law.
The Foreign Ministry added: As Syria reiterates its condemnation of this crime and this brutality, it expresses its support for the Palestinian people in their struggle and their right to freedom, independence and the establishment of their independent state on the land of Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital.
