The cumulative annual profit from the projects, which will serve as economic growth engines for savings and income for the local authorities, amounts to tens of millions of shekels, who is going to receive the huge budgets?


The Ministry of the Negev, Galilee and National Resilience will invest approximately 160 million NIS in favor of removing budgetary barriers and in economic projects that will benefit the residents of the Negev and the Galilee. The cumulative annual profit from the projects that will serve as economic growth engines for savings and income for the local authorities amounts to tens of millions of NIS.

The budgetary support is intended for projects whose implementation period will not exceed 36 months and the start of implementation of which will not exceed 12 months from the date of granting the budgetary authorization

The Argaman in Acre and a new glamping complex in Tiberias, Ampi Tzemach in the Jordan Valley will be renovated for the first time after decades, water parks will be established for the first time in Dimona and Afula, a regional hi-tech center will be established in Majed Al Khrom, a playground in Hora, and also new charging stations for vehicles in Meta Asher and Mazarah.



The Minister of the Negev, the Galilee and National Resilience, Yitzhak Wasserlauf: "There is no doubt that as the authorities become stronger, social and national resilience will increase. Today, the authorities in the Negev and the Galilee have very few independent sources of income, the economic projects will strengthen the local authorities, help reduce disparities and provide equal opportunities for the authorities and residents. The national strength of the Negev and the Galilee is measured by the strengthening of the citizens and the local authorities both economically and socially. These days the ministry is working to promote projects that create change and engines of growth alongside reducing gaps and strengthening the population of young and old people."

An additional government building will be built in Katsrin

to the extent of 9 million NIS, which will generate annual profits for the Authority in the amount of approximately 1.6 million NIS;


A regional high-tech center will be established in Majd al-Khrum

at a cost of 8.9 million NIS, which will generate annual profits for the Authority in the amount of 900 thousand NIS;


A glamping complex will be built in Tiberias

to the extent of NIS 9 million, which will generate annual profits for the Tiberias municipality of approximately NIS 1.9 million and the tourism complex will also be renovated to the extent of NIS 4 million.


In Acre,

the Red Beach Hotel will be built to the extent of NIS 9 million, which will generate annual profits of approximately NIS 3 million for the Acre municipality.


A technology incubator will be built in Sderot

In the Jordan Valley,

after many years, the Zemach Amphitheatre, to the extent of 4 million NIS, will be renovated.


A water park will be built in the amount of 9 million NIS, which will generate annual profits for the Afula municipality in the amount of 5.7 million NIS, and the municipal market will also be renovated in the amount of 4 million
