Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed that the international reactions to the massacre committed by the Israeli occupation yesterday in the city of Nablus in the West Bank, which resulted in the death of 11 Palestinians and the wounding of hundreds, is a reflection of the policy of double standards.
In a statement today, reported by the Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered that the international reactions are shy and weak and almost equate between the victim and the executioner, and do not rise to the level of the occupation massacre, which rises to the level of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that these responses are not consistent with the positions and claims of states and the international community regarding adherence to international law, international humanitarian law and human rights principles, especially since most of them avoid holding the occupation fully and directly responsible for this crime and other crimes and for their results and repercussions that threaten to explode the situation.
The Foreign Ministry stressed that Israel's continued impunity encourages it to persist in committing more crimes, pointing out that it is following its international political, diplomatic and legal movement to mobilize the broadest international pressure on the occupation authorities to stop its crimes and all its illegal unilateral measures, and to demand effective international practical measures and steps to ensure its commitment. To stop its comprehensive aggression against the Palestinian people.
