debit card payments.

on purchases over $100, since 2018.

Each business premises has the obligation to display the
"Form 960 - Fiscal Data"
in a visible place.
The form contains a QR code, which is a barcode that stores encoded data, such as a link to a website.
In the case of commercial premises, the QR code contains the
tax information of that business
.
What can be done if a store does not accept debit card payments?
If in a business they want to charge you a surcharge for paying with a debit card or they do not have a debit payment terminal, you can
report it from your cell phone
with internet access.
For that, you have to scan with your device the
QR code
that appears in the "Form 960 - Fiscal Data" of the premises.
It is stuck on the door or near the collection box.
Once scanned, it will automatically refer you to the corresponding information of the premises so that you can make your complaint.

What to do if your debit card is not accepted.
With the data from the complaint, AFIP sends
inspections
to the points of sale in stages.
In the beginning, the inspectors notify those who do not have posnet or do not use it correctly and give them a quick training.
Then they make a "control" visit and, if the non-compliance continues, they draw up an
infringement report
.
Only then can sanctions be applied, which include closures of between two and six days.
What is the Fiscal Data form and what data should it have?
Form 960/D – Fiscal Data has trade data and a quick response (QR) code.
With the QR code, the consumer can access information about the trade.
These are the data that the form must have:

How do I access the QR form of a business?
The businesses must have the form displayed in a visible place and close to the place where the payment is made.
If the business has a window, it should also have the form attached to the glass, so that the public can see and use it.
It has to be positioned so that you can get closer than one meter to
read the QR code with your mobile device.
If the business has a website, it must have the logo "Form No. 960-Fiscal Data" on its main page.
That logo must have a link that leads to the page with information about the trade.
