A 59-year-old man was discovered on Friday, February 23, shot dead at his home in the Balagne region (Haute-Corse), the Bastia prosecutor told AFP, adding that a person was in police custody in this case.

," said Arnaud Viornery, public prosecutor of Bastia.

A person is in police custody under the qualification of intentional homicide
”, he added without further details.

It would be a dispute which would have opposed these two people, one of whom would have killed the other, indicated to AFP a source close to the file, specifying that we were "not at all in
the organized crime
”.
The facts would have occurred on Wednesday but would not have been discovered until Friday, said this source.
The investigation was entrusted to the gendarmes of Calvi.
