This evening, the second relief aid convoy was launched, provided by civil, social and economic activities, and charitable societies in Al-Hasakah Governorate for those affected by the earthquake in Lattakia.
According to the Director of Social Affairs and Labor, Ibrahim Khalaf, in a statement to SANA reporter, the convoy included 11 trucks loaded with various items of relief materials, including medical equipment, winter clothes, blankets, sponges, mattresses, toilets, and others.
In a similar statement, the deputy governor of Hasakah, Hasan al-Shamhoud, stated that the aid was provided with the participation of all charities, religious bodies, and civil initiatives, which reflects the sense of responsibility towards the people of Syria to help the families affected by the earthquake, indicating that the people of Hasakah are continuing to collect material and in-kind donations to present to their brothers in the provinces. others to alleviate their suffering.
A member of the Board of Directors of the Syria Al-Yamamah Charitable Foundation, Ismail Taha, indicated that the foundation's participation comes within the framework of providing aid to the affected people in the affected governorates and alleviating their suffering, as the assistance included clothes, food, blankets, various sanitary materials, and medical equipment.
Young Nihad Barabandi, who provided mechanisms to transport aid for free, said: "This is what I can offer to our brothers affected by the earthquake, and I hope to offer more than that, and this is the least duty we can provide in support of our brothers."
While the young man, Radhi Shteiwi, who supervises the campaign, explained that this is the second initiative that we offer to the families affected by the earthquake, as an amount of 204 million Syrian pounds was provided in cash to the affected families, and our participation today includes in-kind assistance such as clothes, food, blankets, and everything that can alleviate the suffering of our brothers.
Al-Hasakah Governorate launched the first convoy of aid during the past week, loaded with various items of medicine and clothing, to the families affected by the earthquake in Aleppo.
