Two men aged 40 and 32 were sentenced to fifteen years' imprisonment on Friday February 24 for raping and beating a 42-year-old woman on October 3, 2009 in Bayonne.
The general counsel of the criminal court of Pyrénées-Atlantiques, Amandine Boyer, had requested eighteen years in prison for this act

Now 56, Nathalie Toussaint was repeatedly raped on October 3, 2009 after going to a Bayonne nightclub.
Her two attackers also punched her several times before leaving her for dead in an isolated parking lot.
Nathalie had to undergo two operations to reconstruct her face, victim of ten fractures.

The two men were arrested in 2021, twelve years after Nathalie's assault.
A correspondence is established between sperm found on the jeans of the victim, in 2009, and the fingerprint of a 40-year-old man as part of a procedure for "violence on a spouse".
Arrested by the investigators, the latter acknowledges the facts and gives the name of his accomplice, a 32-year-old man.
The two men, who were 19 and 27 at the time, were finally sentenced to fifteen years in prison on Friday.
