Here is the news scheduled for this Saturday, February 25.
Agricultural centre
Is happiness still in the meadow?
It's the time of year when city dwellers and politicians gather around a cow: the Salon de l'Agriculture, an annual celebration of "farm France", begins in a landscape upset by the war in Ukraine, the inflation and the climate.
President Emmanuel Macron is expected first thing Saturday to inaugurate the event which has occupied the Porte de Versailles exhibition center in southern Paris every year since 1964 (with the exception of 2021 due to the Covid pandemic -19).
Asylum seekers
Battle of demonstrations.
Two events are organized in Saint-Brévin-les-Pins around a reception center for asylum seekers (Cada): one favorable (at 10 a.m.), the other hostile (at 2 p.m.).
It is the choice of the location of this new Cada, near the public kindergarten and elementary school "Pierre Attelée", which poses a particular problem for opponents.
Rugby
Ireland and Scotland will try to continue their series of victories on the third day, in Italy for the Clover on Saturday, against France for the Thistle on Sunday, in order to continue dreaming of the Grand Slam.
Saturday in Rome, the Irish, whose last Grand Slam dates back to 2018, will be favorites against the Italians, certainly more convincing than previous editions but who have only scored a bonus point so far.
At the end of the afternoon on Saturday, the XV of Wales, at home and after two heavy defeats, will for its part be keen not to sink in front of England, whose performance against Italy (31-14) somewhat reassured.
Sunday, the XV du Chardon of the opener Finn Russell will arrive at the Stade de France with the ambition of obtaining a third victory,
after his two award-winning successes in England and then in front of Wales.
The Blues will try to revive after the defeat against Ireland.
