Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected to go to Italy in the coming weeks and meet with the new Prime Minister George Maloney - Israel Hayom has learned.

The Prime Minister's office confirmed that a trip is planned, but said that the final schedule has not yet been determined.

The 45-year-old "Brother Italy" leader set a new Italian record in forming a government last October, which she heads.

Despite the difficulties presented to her by her partner in the center-right coalition, former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Maloney managed to present the composition of the new government, only a few hours after the President of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, entrusted her with the task of forming the government.
