On Thursday, an indictment was filed against 27-year-old Basho Bitwa, for the murder of 36-year-old Chakola Atresau in a fight in Kiryat Bialik that broke out in a makeshift card club last month.

In addition, Bitwa is accused of the attempted murder of another person, Gideon Demsia, who was seriously injured in the fight even though he tried to help Atresau.

An indictment was also filed against two others who participated in the fight, and they are Betwa's brother, 23-year-old Demilau, and his 19-year-old friend Alon Hadar.

From a video shown in court, the defendants are seen playing cards in the makeshift club while drinking heavily.

An argument later appears to break out between the knife-wielding Bitwa and Demsia.

The indictment states that the accused threatened him and demanded that he pay him 250 shekels which he lost to another player.
