The Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in Al-Hasakah organized a protest stand today to demand the lifting of the siege imposed on Syria.

The participants in the vigil raised banners denouncing the unjust siege on Syria, calling on the honorable people of the world to denounce the siege and work to lift it in light of the repercussions of the devastating earthquake that a number of Syrian governorates were exposed to.

Head of the Executive Committee of the Sports Federation branch in Al-Hasakah, Raymond Doshi, said in a statement to SANA: We call, through this vigil, to lift the unjust siege imposed on Syria and its people, who have the right to live like the rest of the world's peoples.

Chairman of the Steering Committee of Al-Jazira Club, Mustafa Shakerdi, called for lifting the unjust siege, calling on the countries of the world and everyone who has a human sense to contribute to lifting the siege so that the Syrian people can live in peace and practice their normal lives.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jihad Club, Dr. Reber Maswar, affirmed that the time has come to lift this siege and remove these unjustly imposed sanctions on our homeland, and that every honorable person in this world take a firm stand to lift the siege on the Syrian people, who have suffered from it over the past years and still are.

Sheikh Mizar Al-Muslat, one of the sheikhs of the Jabour tribe, stated that the Syrian clans and tribes support the efforts of the countrymen to break the brutal siege, pointing out that in light of the catastrophe that occurred and the destruction caused by the earthquake in a number of Syrian provinces and cities, it is necessary to unite the efforts of all honorable people to lift the siege and support Syria.
