Today, the Hama governorate distributed food aid provided by the Russian Federation to those affected by the earthquake in the shelter center in the village of Al-Azizia in the Al-Ghab area in the countryside of Hama.
The deputy commander in charge of administrative affairs of the Russian forces for the Idlib region, Colonel Evenis, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that the aid included various foodstuffs, which is a humanitarian contribution from Russian friends for the benefit of those affected to alleviate their suffering.
In turn, the director of the operations room for the emergency response to earthquakes in Hama Governorate, Muhammad Abu Jadaan, stated in a similar statement that the Russian aid included foodstuffs such as sugar, rice, oil, tea, and others for residents of the affected shelter in the village of Al-Azizia in the Al-Ghab region, which is one of the areas most affected by the earthquake in the governorate.
